One of our customers is a bus manufacturer with operations in Canada and the U.S. that needed help with the paint application in their finishing booth. They were struggling with considerable turbulence that was affecting the paint during the application process and disrupting their production.
We designed a booth with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to address the airflow issue within the booth to create a laminar flow. This provides a smooth, parallel air flow so there is a consistent and predictable finish. The new booth was integrated into their production line and paint equipment to significantly improve their finishing operations.
We partnered with a distributor in Manitoba for the integration to ensure a smooth transition and reduced downtime for their production line. Our customer is now using the new booth in their production line and is very happy with the finished product.
