They were powder coating metal gates in their facility and did not have a powder booth, so they were using a plywood box to try and contain powder coating to one area. They needed a solution to improve their powder coating process and expand their finishing operations.

The team was having challenges in the facility because powder was going everywhere during their process – their existing collector module was unable to control the overspray during the finishing process. They needed to expand their finishing operations within their facility footprint and contain the overspray. They had an existing conveyor system, but it was not being utilized due to the lack of a powder booth.
Custom Solutions for Production Line
Our team was able to identify that they needed two process powder booths to enhance their finishing process. We were able to design and build two custom process powder booths to integrate with their existing conveyor line and collector module. They are now able to increase production, reduce material waste, and prevent powder from entering the facility.
Identifying Improvements for Industrial Facilities
We were able to identify ways to improve the production process and provide a better working environment for their team. The facility now has an enclosed powder process for their finishing needs, they can increase production, and they have enhanced the safety process for their finishing operations.
