Rohner produces batch ovens with a minimum of a 6" insulated door with four-pound rock wool to ensure the door panels and handles stay cool to the touch when the oven is properly balanced. Our rigid tube, steel door frame is left uncapped to ensure convective air currents, which reduces thermal heat transfer through the perforated door panel. The air spaces inside the door panel are carefully and completely insulated to create an oven door that is cool to the touch.
